Our Haymakers Family

We believe our success at our nursery school is due to the amazing staff we have and the wonderful relationships and firm foundations we build upon with our parents and families.

At Young Haymakers, we value and respect all parent’s views, religion, beliefs and cultures. To promote an active partnership from the beginning of each child's journey with us we invite parents to come into the nursery to settle their child in alongside their key person over a two week period. Next, we arrange for a home visit where Flopsy bunny comes to visit and plays. After approximately 6 weeks parents meet with their key's key person to discuss the child. Following on we hold regular parent meetings through the year with each child's key person, talking about their emotional well-being and development.

In addition, our  panel meetings provide opportunities for

collaborative discussions between staff and parents on many subjects, such as;

  • how the nursery operates

  • policies and procedures

  • our action plans/ long term goals to enrich the childrens' care and education

  • highlight opportunities to promote partnership with parents.
